Storage World

We have recently updated and further developed the identity for Storage World, Dublin, Cork and Limerick. Their secure storage units cater for both business and personal items of varying sizes. Red&Grey Design created a series of illustrations to emphasize the scale of the units and we are currently working with copywriter Gai Griffin on a series of advertising taglines for the organisation.

Bob will be giving a short presentation today on Cultural Diversity in Fingal County Council HQ. The presentation is part of one of three workshops initiated to stimulate debate about our proposed Design Capital 2014 bid. Other speakers include Sarah Miller and Carrie Anne Moran from Rediscover Fashion and Lisa Godson from Gradcam.

Irish High Crosses

Red&Grey Design have just completed the exhibition design work for the Irish High Cross Exhibition the National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks. The exhibit features six plaster-of-Paris casts along with a selection of famous Irish treasures. Admission is free so pop along.

This Monday June 13th Bob will be giving a lecture on Logo, Identity, Brand in Trinity College’s Trinity Haus. The lecture is part of their two week event Entrepreneurs don’t grow on Trees and is dedicated to transition and 5th year senior cycle students and intends to combine entrepreneurship and innovation with sustainability.

Pecha Kucha Dublin

Bob will be taking part at Pecha Kucha 6 in the Sugar Club this Thursday (June 3rd). The idea is simple, 20 slides x 20 seconds. World Design Capital

World Design Capital

Back in March Bob attended a cross-disciplinary workshop in Dublin City Council to discuss a potential Dublin bid as World Design Capital. The positive and negatives aspects of a bid along with development structures, education, funding and political support were just some of the topics addressed on the day.
