Conversations Around Maynooth

Conversations Around Maynooth

Conversations Around Maynooth is an program we have set up with the NUI Maynooth Communications department. Our idea is to design positive disruptions throughout the university by placing a table, chairs, a hot pot of tea and menu of conversation along specific routes of activity. The feedback we receive from Conversations Around Maynooth will help inform the communications and strategy of the university.

We are working on the project with arts and experience consultant Boz Temple Morris and photographer Richard Gilligan

MOYO Spring poster

MOYO Spring poster

We have just completed our second in a series of four posters for MOYO hairdressing today. The chill blue winter layers of December have now been replaced with fresh green spring waves. The posters are displayed on a large custom made lightbox that highlights the typography and therefore engages any body passing by the salon. Watch out for MOYO’s new website which will be updated shortly by former Red&Grey Design web supremo Redbloc. Watch this space for updates.

NCAD 2013

NCAD 2013

We are happy to have just completed our most recent National College of Art & Design (NCAD) portfolio submission brief. The submission brief tests NCAD candidates abilities over a number of tasks giving them the best opportunity to gain entry to the college. This year we were lucky to have a little help from designer/artist Maria Hinds on the project.

You can check some of the previous years covers here.

With people inspired and invigorated by an amazing array of contributions over the weekend, the talk centered around the evolving process of communication across all sectors - cultural, educational, business, political and social enterprise.

We will also be continuing to work with and support PIVOT Dublin as creative partners. First up for PIVOT will be website guest curators OFFSET and Radarstation, these will be followed by a design exhibition in Filmbase this February.

As always in Red&Grey Design we will use our strengths of conversation, collaboration, storytelling, humour and experimentation to design and develop creative outcomes for both our existing and new upcoming clients.
