Wexford Festival Opera

The Wexford Festival Opera plays a central role in the cultural life of Ireland, in the world of opera and arts internationally. From small and humble beginnings it has achieved worldwide success and critical acclaim.

Red&Grey Design has worked with the Wexford Festival Opera for the past two years. We began in 2009 with a new identity design and improving the overall image of the festival. Our brief was to bring all of the disparate areas of communication together and strategically develop a comprehensive identity that will be used across all media. Having developed the new look we went on to produce the supporting print and marketing materials.

For the 2010 festival we focused a more user friendly look, where the information is displayed in a clear coloured code system. We also incorporated imagery from the festival photographic archive into the design to capture the warm atmosphere of the festival.

Unlike most festivals the Wexford Festival Opera is an ongoing year around project with continuous items being developed throughout the year. From concept to final delivery from the printer, Red&Grey Design handles the collectors programmes, event brochures, friends newsletters, daytime event guides, press advertising, posters, vehicle livery, sponsors & exhibition stands, ticket wallets, CD and website (http://www.wexfordopera.com).
