National College of Art & Design 2007
The NCAD first year Core and Visual Culture student handbook explains the importance of creative thinking and is an important resource tool for the students. As students occasionally spend time in the pub, often discussing and scribbling ideas while enjoying the occasional pint we decided to glue a a blank beer-mat to the handbook cover and therefore encouraging the students to continually think and be creative. The interior spreads were designed to showcase past students work as well as house Visual culture essays and an art and design timeline.
The NCAD student handbook received a bronze ICAD award in 2008.
