LIT is one of the leading educational institutes in Ireland. The institute consists of four separate schools – Art & Design, Built Environment, Business & Humanities and Science, Engineering & IT.
In 2006, Red&Grey Design were award a design contract for LIT for a period of three years, which was extended by two years. Our brief was to create an adaptable identity for the institute, develop design & advertising guidelines and create the institute’s key publications.
Initially we created a strong new logo and an adaptability identity system that could be easily used throughout the institute’s design needs. We produced an identity manual that could be used as a guide. For the publications, we developed a consistent look and layout while each year we provided a new concept.
From concept to final print delivery, we managed the programme handbook, annual report, lifelong learning handbook, student handbook, display stands, little guide, z-cards, leaflets, brochures, exhibition materials, event posters, campus signage, stationery, folders, identity manual, merchandise pens and t-shirts.
We have currently completed a five year design contract with LIT. Our design work for LIT was nominated for an Irish Institute of Creative Advertising & Design award in 2007.
